Top: Forever21 - Bag: Prada
There is this a large scale textile exhibition at Jakarta and my dad asked me and my sister to come along with him to attend the exhibition. It was raining pretty hard during on the way to the exhibition and the location of the exhibition was quite far from my house though. Turns out that the exhibition didn't open for public today but only open for those who owns a retail company by showing your card.
I was fascinated by all the machines inside the hall and how big the hall is. There are various machines in the exhibition and mostly all of them are expensive. It was divided into two section, the first section is mostly for the smaller machines to sew the clothes, the buttons, or something like that. While the other section is for the large machine which is used for the making of the fabric. The machines were brought from other country as well by various brands. There was a huge machine with lots of strings tangled onto it and its height reached up to the ceiling. There's also a machine to spread the fabric and also to cut it according to the pattern that we have input into the machine before and of course its price was around hundreds millions even might be able to reach billions.Usually those kind of machines were used for a big factory.
I found a small machine for the embroidery but only can be used by one head per one time and my dad thought it would be useful and the price would be around 20 million or something but turns out the price was around 200 million if I'm not mistaken. It's pretty surprising though well but the machine is the latest one and the feature was really great anyway. My dad managed to buy some which he actually needed it. Also there are fabric and buttons outlet too, not only machines.
I'm looking forward for the next textile exhibition and I actually had fun because I can see many interesting things from the textile world as my dad introduced it to me.
