Hello again, Singapore - Day 2

6/04/2012

Having the thought that I'm at Singapore right now for my holiday is relaxing and makes me really happy. It's the second day and I'm very excited because there are so many food that I'm going to eat or place that I'm going to visit.

Today's plan is accompanying my mom to Gleneagles Hospital to do the check-up with the doctor there. Afterwards, perhaps we're going to walk around if the result is okay. It was raining that morning but we're still going there expecting a good result. Also I had a good breakfast today, as expected like usual, Royal Plaza has the best breakfast compared to other hotels.

My mom has been stressing out, that's why we hope that we will get a good result so that my mom can be more relax and to ease her up.

As I'm waiting for my mom's turn to go inside the room, there are so many cards on the wall saying gratitude towards the doctor. Saying that the doctor is really kind, caring, and genuine when taking care the patients and helping to cure lots of people already. I felt warmed when I read that and relieved to know that my mom is in the right hand. While I'm waiting I was reading Susane Colasanti's novel that I just bought last night.

Finally, it's my mom's turn. We entered the room and the doctor seemed very kind and nice, well he is nice and kind though. He's very keen on checking my mom and do it slowly and carefully and looking at every part carefully without missing a spot.

In the end, the result was that my mom is okay. There are some things but it's still okay and all she needs to do is that having a check-up again 6 months later to make sure again. All of us were very grateful and relieved to hear such news. My mom was at ease right away when she heard that.

My mom is not stressing out anymore so we decided to go to Marina Bay Sands to relieved our stress. As my mom never been there before and so does my father.

However, Marina Bay Sands' food court sucks. Dirty and it's not good. The best food court is Ion's and Somerset 313's.

At night, once again me and my sister went around Orchard to buy some food and we ended up buying durian pancake at Takashimaya as our dessert. As for the main course, I had scissor cut curry rice. Delicious! I slept well that night too of course.
