Hello again, Singapore - Day 4

6/06/2012

Today my parents are leaving to go home and leaving me and my sister all alone at Singapore for the rest of the planned holidays in Singapore. I'm so excited because I like it this way, just with my sister alone because we can go wherever we want and whenever we want.

So we drop our parents at the airport, said goodbyes and kisses and hugs and then me and my sister are ready to go somewhere else to maximize our holiday to its fullest to refresh our stressed minds.

We've made plans already, for like today we're going here and tomorrow we're going there and so on and so on. Today we're going to Ikea at Alexandria as we're going to have lunch anyway there at Ikea as well. It will be my first time to go to Ikea and taste their meals. My sister said that their meatballs and salmon pouched are really good and I can't wait to eat it!

So we took MRT and afterward continued it with bus. I love taking public transportation at Singapore. I wish we had these kinds of public transportation at Indonesia, that way I will surely take the public transportation.

So when I got there, Ikea was pretty huge and what's interesting there was the small area that was designed to be a small home and very efficient. I wonder how can they managed to live in such small place yet it looks comfy!

We bought Swedish Meatballs, Salmon Pouched and Princess cake. It looked delish and I can't wait to taste it. As I put a spoonful of the Swedish Meatballs, oh holy love, it's very delicious! I can't get enough of it! Seriously. It's just really good. When I'm typing this, geez, I'm craving for it badly! The Salmon Pouched tasted good as well but I don't really like Salmon in that way. I like Salmon sashimi or Grilled Salmon with teriyaki sauce something like that. The Princess cake was quite nice too. But the highlight was the meatballs.

Then after that, we're going here and there. Then of course came to the point where we're hungry AGAIN. So we headed to Cathay to have a meal at Astons Specialties. Yum! I ordered the pork ribs while my sister ordered Hickory Chicken BBQ. It's nice but not as delicious as it used to be though. Sad.
