Hello again, Singapore - Day 5

6/07/2012

Today we've made plan already that today is specially for Universal Studio Singapore and perhaps followed with Vivo City since it's the nearest mall there. I'm very excited to go to Universal Studio and am ready to take lots of photos there and have fun there even though I might not ride any adventurous game such as rollercoaster game 'cause I'm such a scaredy-cat.

After having breakfast, then we're getting ready to go to Universal Studio. We've bought the ticket beforehand at the hotel which is easier and faster of course and our hotel's concierge said that we can get a bus from Hyatt Hotel which is right across our hotel and that bus will take us to the Universal Studio directly.

So we went there and waited for the bus. However, we've been waiting for like half an hour and the bus still not yet arrived. We grew uneasy as the noon came so we decided to take the public transportation which is Bus or MRT to the Harbourfront; Vivo City.

Then finally we took the monorail from Vivo City to the Sentosa Island then walked a bit more toward the gate of the Universal Studio. Hype!

Right after we entered the Universal Studios Singapore, we were presented by sort of like Hollywood street with lots of shops at our right and left and it's really nice! It really feels like Universal Studios.

Then I saw Transformer section. I rode Transformer thrice just because it's really fun. It's a 4D machine and we fought together with Transformers against Megatron. We cheered and screamed together with the other passengers and if you get a fun passenger then it would be great.

In Universal Studios there are many 'famous character' wandering around the theme park and we can take picture together by lining up in queue line. The first character I met was Joker. He messed me and my sister's hair and it's actually fun rather the character just stood there and do nothing. The characters in Universal Studios Singapore really get into their character and it's great.

Then we reached the Universe Theme which consist Transformers as well in here. There's a rollercoaster here called the Battlestar Galactica. It looked really scary and I didn't have any guts to ride it since of course my sister didn't want to ride it as well. We're both are such a scaredy cat.

Moving on, we have arrived in the Egypt theme. The Mummy theme. The design and everything really made it like we were in Egypt. We were welcomed with a gigantic statue that we often see at mummy movies or something like that. There's a Mummy ride, sort of like rollercoaster but I heard it's not that scary and I wanted to ride that but again my sister refuse to ride it and I won't ride it alone by myself of course.

After the Egyptian theme, now we entered the jungle theme which is the The Lost World: Jurassic Park theme. Lots of trees to make it like jungle and woods and something like that. Inside of it there's a boat ride with Madagascar theme. Sort of like Istana Boneka at Dufan, so we circled around using boat with inside of it many figures from Madagascar. Quite fun!

After the Jungle-ish theme, it's the Far Far Away world theme. With all those castles and shops like we've seen at Shrek movie. There's a huge banner of the Fairy Godmother selling it's famous potions for all your happily ever afters. I would really like to get one if it's available since I want to live happily ever after. LOL. There's a Shrek 4D show as well but it's not as fun as Transformer. Since we sat on a theater and we got sprayed, and there's wind and things like that. Pretty fun though but of course Transformer is much better considering my age.

I circled around the USS for around 3 times or so just because it's small and looking for the characters to be taken photo with. Here are just some shots and my self-picture with characters all around USS.
