As usual, me and my best friend, Roselyn, were having a date just the two of us but for this time it's on Saturday instead of Friday. We decided to go to Bistronomy 'cause of the cute interior they had. We were kinda lost when we're trying to find the restaurant but we managed to find it and arrived safe and sound, thanks to Waze application.

Once we got there, I'm in love already with the entrance. It looks beautiful with all the plants surrounding the walls on the left and top side of the entrance. Not to forget the classic big wood door. Makes it more elegant.

Once we got inside, I'm overwhelmed by the design of the interior. Very vintage and rustic, sweetly classic. Who can resist such setting anyway? Just hoping they serve a good food as well to balanced their amazing interior. With an addition of a christmas tree, it's just make it much more beautiful. Since I really love christmas decor, with the addition of a christmas tree to such beautiful place, I was really overwhelmed.

We were kinda confused of what are we going to order then the server suggested to order the afternoon tea set because it's included sweet bites and savoury bites and including tea as well. So we ordered that.

Once the afternoon tea set arrived, it looked so pretty and cute. On the bottom is the savoury bites while on the top is the sweet bites. For the savoury bites, there are chicken fingers, sandwiches, and some kind of croquet. While for the sweet bites, there are cheese cake, small muffins and fruit tarts.

We tried the savoury bites first. The chicken fingers were bland and the sandwiches suck. The croquet was pretty nice though thankfully. As for the sweet bites, I like the cheese cake, blueberry muffin, and the kiwi tarts. Quite disappointing for the food 'cause it's not as good as the interior. 

As always, another well-spent day with my best friend, Roselyn. Finally, we have a proper photo together! We usually do selfies only but now we do have proper photos of us together. Had a good laugh together with this girl. As what my dad said about us, 'sehidup semati' or 'destined to be together all the time, cannot live without each other'. We chose a set of meal which designated for two (bestfriend). Yay!

Long Time No See

I had a lunch date with Claresta today, it's quite hard to arrange a meet-up with her because of our schedule and we lived quite far from each other. Finally, we managed to arranged a lunch date since it's been quite a while since the last time we met. We usually keep in touch with each other through chats and phone calls.

We decided to have lunch at Loobie since both of us haven't try it and we have heard from some people that it's good 'cause it's affiliate with Holycow! Steakhouse. When we got there, the place was quite small and it's pretty crowded due to lunch time. I ordered the whole lobster platter which includes rice and calamari. The lobster was good, I like the seasoning and the calamari as well. To be honest, I'm not enough with whole lobster, gotta order bigger lobster next time. Also perhaps without rice, so just the lobster.

After having a big lunch, we decided to have desserts for the closing. We went to Pacific Place to try Capocaccia's tiramisu because my friend told me that their tiramisu is really good despite of the price that quite expensive for a tiramisu. Once we got there, we saw the dessert list and we ordered the tiramisu and also Caramel Pannacota.

We tried the tiramisu first. It's really good and very moist. Well, not until like it's very very very good as what my friends had said though. It's nice but yeah just that's it. Gotta admit that it's really moist though and well-made. As for the pannacota, it was really good. Very mushy, well it's not mushy but I just feel like using that word. Loving the caramel as well, different with the caramel I used to have, the one from the bottle. Overall it's really good. It's just I won't go there pretty often due to the price.

Had a great day with my friend, Claresta. We get to tell so many stories and laugh together. Looking forward for another meet-up with this girl.

Neighbour

Finally arranged a lunch date with my childhood friends whom also my neighbour. Me and my sister are close to those two girls. Both of them are also siblings. Similar age to us and we lived quite near back then before they moved to another city. We kinda lost contact before but then we accidentally met with the older sister at Central Park, one of the mall in Jakarta then we exchanged numbers, thus we get to contact each other again afterwards.

We decided to have lunch date at Plaza Senayan. We haven't decided where are we going to eat though. Could be TWG or Monolog or maybe something else.

I've been into make-up a lot nowadays. I've been learning how to use make-up and I enjoy it. Not a heavy make-up user, just a daily look make-up is enough for me. Not the girl who loves to play with eyeshadow a lot like those we found on Youtube. I'm using eyeshadow today but not really showed up in the photo though.

Once we got there, we arrived at the same time. So we met right away and first we tried to look at TWG but then it's quite full, so we decided to have lunch at Monolog. I was confused of what to order because I'm not that hungry too. I went for their nachos and caramel orange latte.

 I don't really like their caramel orange latte though. Tasted a bit off for me and the orange peel kinda disturbing because of the bitterness. Can't really sense their caramel too. I'd still prefer their cappuccino. I tried it before and it was good.

As for their Macho Nachos, that's what it's called. It's really good. At first, I thought it's quite expensive for a nachos but when the nachos came, okay, the portion was quite big with lots of topping on top of it. I love their seasoning, avocado, jalapenos, and everything. Everything went well together and matched perfectly. Enjoyed their nachos very much. I would come back for their nachos again soon.

Once we're done with our lunch at Monolog, Anita, the older sister, craving for sweet treats and tea. So we came back to TWG and we're on the waiting list since it's really crowded. We were waiting for around an hour I guess. It's just that long and I was quite pissed already because as far as I know I came first before the auntie who came after me but that auntie got the seat first. Okay. At first we wanted to cancel it but we already waited for almost an hour then we just cancel it and not going to eat it? No. Hate it. Then my time would be wasted for standing for an hour doing nothing without even get to have their tea at least?

Then we got our seat but since the two siblings had another plan at night, we were kinda in a hurry. I only ordered tea and the caramel macaroon.

Nevertheless, it's been a good day with my old friends and we cannot wait to meet up again soon. Since both of them are working already, so it's kinda hard to meet up with them.

Not many people have experienced miracle in their life. They have heard it before from the bible or their relatives or their friends. Many of them too would like to experience a miracle in their life. It all depends on God of course. I've never thought that I'd received this kind of miracle in my life. Everything that happened during this event are all miracles to me. Starting from the coincidence, the timing, everything.

Swim

One of my secrets is that I cannot swim that well. I find it hard to take a breath during swimming like the other people. But, these days I managed to learn swimming by myself at my pool and slowly I got the hang of it and yeay I can swim, but not really expert but at least you can call it as swimming.

I used to be able to swim when I was a kid, but then I didn't swim for a long time and therefore I couldn't swim anymore. Right now, I find it really fun! I swim for almost everyday these days and also I'm not a sport person so I guess by swimming it helps me to do one sport activity at least in my whole life besides I want to have a jogging or running by dusk around my house.

Today I take my concert tickets at Mangga Dua Center and thankfully it's not that crowded or I have to queue for such a long time because I ordered the ticket from the fanbase and thank God that fanbase is not crowded as the other fanbase.

Mickey

Audrey already told me that today she and her brother, Gamal, will come to my house to borrow my house, my living room and stairs to be exact for Gamal's final project movie. He's been looking for a circling staircase and then he saw one of my photos and asked my permission to let him shoot one scene using the stairs. 

Good Spell

I found a book which I found it unique and very interesting at Kinokuniya today. So I went to Plaza Senayan and as always I went to Kinokuniya. There is this book called The Good Spell Book. Inside the book, there's a love charms, magical cures and other practical sorcery. I don't know if this book was for real or not but I was intrigued by this but I didn't buy it of course. It's not like I would practice a love charm to a guy that I like right. Lol.

Up in The Air

No, no, this is not about that 'Up in The Air' movie. It has nothing to do at all with that movie or even with flying or something like that. It's just I'm not good with titles and one of my photo that I'm going to posted here got a caption 'Up in The Air' so yeah just use that one.

Small Reunion

Today I already have a plan to have a small reunion with my best friends, Audrey, Jessica, Kiko, and Jane at the mall. It's really hard for all of us to really meet-up together and have a meal together. Even this small reunion is not complete because of the absence of Diana and Robert but still we managed to get together to have a meal and catch up with our lives.

Different

I never knew that a restaurant can be different among its outlets. So, I visited Han Gang restaurant at Grand Indonesia because I just confused what to eat so I decided to eat korean food at Han Gang because I usually eat Han Gang at Living World, Alam Sutera so of course I expected it to be the same right since it's the same restaurant with a same name and menu.

I ordered Kimchi Stew and Kimchi Pancake. I've tried their Kimchi Stew before at Han Gang Senayan City and it's quite great. The kimchi that was served as the side dish tasted really awful and really sour. It's really bad. They put on Korean songs but one of the crew turn on another song, Indonesian songs that's really loud that almost beat the korean songs. 

I complaint about that. I told the server to shut down one of them because it's confusing to listen to two songs at the same time and you know what he did? He turn off the korean songs but instead letting the indonesian songs played. It was played from the server's cellphone though, I know.

The foods have arrived and I tried it one by one. The kimchi pancakes are bad and so does the kimchi stew. I didn't know that the taste could be different between one outlet and another one. When I'm done with my meal, when I walked to the door, the sound of the indonesian song is really loud that it reached the entire restaurant. Stupid servers. 

Basically, it is really different. The price is even more expensive! I can't believe it. That's why I no longer want to eat at Han Gang beside at Living World or at least Senayan City. Clearly, Han Gang Grand Indonesia sucks big time.

I tried a new bottled milk tea named Kirin from Japan. It's quite expensive though, it costs 30K for one bottle. It's quite good but not that great either so yeah I won't buy it anymore. But I heard, Lawson Mart sells Kirin only for 10K to the utmost. Great, right?

When I went to Grand Indonesia, I never forgot to buy Spinelli's Caramel Earl Grey Tea Latte of course.

Lately

Lately, I've been doing well on my classes along with my classmates and interact with my classmates and having fun together after class and also I eat well lately. There are lots of good foods around me that I simply grateful for that.

MUHA

I was being informed that MUHA Space is opening a booth at fashion exhibition at Plaza Indonesia. I feel so proud of Robert because he made it this big and I believe Muha will keep growing to be a bigger one and more awesome! So I came to Plaza Indonesia with Claresta and later on meet up with Kiko, Audrey, and Mike.

GAC

I got myself an album of G.A.C finally! I feel so happy to know that my best friend, Audrey, finally released an album already! Along with her brother, Gamal and the other girl, Cantika. All her hardwork are now being paid off. I'm wishing all the best for her so that she can have a long great career in the music industry with her great voice. I feel honored when she mentioned my name on her Thanks To in her album.

Surprise!

Even though my cousin is staying with us for few days and few days ago, my best friend, Via had her birthday so I decided came to campus even though it's summer holiday (because she took short course during summer break) and she really clueless that I came to campus along with three muffins with candles as well. When she saw me, she was literally scream because she's too surprised that I actually came and she made a wish and blew the candles out and we took a photo together. It's nice to give this kind of surprise to my friend with a simple things yet meaningful in my opinion.

Cousin

Today, my cousin, Ko Redo came to Jakarta! It's been quite long since the last time I saw him. Me and my sister and him have always been close and matched well. I always told him to come to Jakarta and later I will take him on tour and culinary tour in here. Finally, he came!

Home

So after having a great holiday at Singapore, now it's time for me to back to reality and return to my house. Pity that I need to go back to Indonesia again after having a wonderful week at Singapore.

Life is Good

For me, life is good. Simply good. It's not hard to make me feel that life is good. Enough with a good food, good book, or good movie. My life is in bliss already. Some people are just making their life hard while they don't have to. I don't mean that I won't work hard or something like that. Working hard to achieve your dream doesn't mean that you're making your life hard. People are often making things harder than it should be. My motto is, 'If life is not hard then don't make it hard'. 

Food all the way

I've been waiting for this day! Me and my sister are going to have dinner at The Asia at Ritz Carlton Hotel. It's an all-you-can-eat restaurant with all kinds of Asian foods. I'm sure going to eat a lot. First, we went to Plaza Indonesia first to buy some time since we came pretty early though. We bought some bread first so that we won't be too starved at Pan Ya. I loved their breads. It's really good.

There's Axioo exhibition and the design and set are just too cute and lovely! It makes me want to get married as soon as possible. 

Then the night came, we went to Ritz Carlton right away and as we have booked earlier we went inside and then right when we're already seated we went to look around the food that was being served in the buffet style. There are tons of many asian foods but however only some of them were interesting to my eyes. I tried this and that and some are good and some are bad. Overall, just so-so. Unlike Sailendra at JW Marriott Hotel. 

They served pastas as well and I tried that as well. I tried this some kind of like nachos but with a white sauce, I don't know what's it called and the sauce tastes terrible. The desserts were quite good though.

The toilet sucks big time. It was dirty and crowded. Simply to say, it was an unpleasant dinner to me and my sister that night. Won't come again for sure.
